Div 3 Football Feile U15 boys round 2 Group 2 match v Craobh Chiarain at WMT Sunday 3rd of October 2021

WMT boys u15s played their second football Feile match today at WMT. The first half was a tight affair with WMT leading by 0-6 to 0-5 at HT. WMT began to creep ahead in the second half and lead by 4 points with about 10 minutes to go thanks to resolute defence and some smart play by WMT forwards . However WMT then came under fierce pressure and could not get the ball up the field . The defence finally buckled and CC got 2 goals to take a 3 point lead with little time left on the clock . Yet again dug deep and we’re awarded a penalty which was well taken by Cian Daly. Then up stepped Rian Doherty yet again with the winning point from a tough angle . A great win , special mention to our defence who were very strong especially the full back line Devin Thomas, Will Hemeryck and Darragh Kearney . FT score WMT 1-11 to CC 2-7

Next up on Sunday 17th of October 2021 away to St Brigids who have also won both their matches. The winner of this match will be in Div 3 U15 Feile final . WMT Abu
